			<title>Le D&ocirc;me d’Esprit - Philosophy</title>
Our working philosophy at Le D&ocirc;me d’Esprit
		</content-info>

		<para role="intro">Bring meaning and purpose to your life by accepting personal responsibility
for your thoughts, choices, and actions.</para>

		<para>I believe that when we are born, we are whole and consciously connected to Source. The connection provides an innate sense of belonging and being supported as we begin our life’s journey.
		</para>

		<para>Source refers to all the names of God: the Light, Nature, the Holy Beloved, the Divine, Buddha, the Loving Essence, It, the All That Is, the Divine Presence, to name just a few. When we are in the Divine Connection to a loving being, we are innocently vibrant, naturally open, and unselfconsciously connected to our life’s meaning and the demonstration of its purpose. This original, natural connection to Source and its uninhibited expression begin to shift, erode, or shatter as we try to be accepted and fit into the world around us. If we’re not expressing ourselves from our connection to Source in our unique, purposeful way, I believe it’s because there is some form of a judgment, a projection, or limiting belief about ourselves or our world that gets in the way.
		</para>

		<para>Our beliefs form our perception of reality. Positive and negative, they become our filter on the world which we think is the <b><i>only</i></b> reality. What we need to do is work with the <b><i>negative</i></b>, <b><i>limiting</i></b> beliefs, ideas, and thought forms that are formed by our unresolved mental and emotional conflicts that have arisen throughout our early emotional development. These unconscious beliefs are constructed during our attempts to bond and adapt to our interpersonal, familial, communal, cultural, global, and spiritual environment. Long-held beliefs which no longer serve us become crystallized into “filters of perception” which <b><i>become our reality</i></b>, negatively inhibiting the manifestation of our goals, dreams, creative self-expression and the demonstration of our life’s meaning and purpose.
		</para>

		<para>Examples of damaging formative experiences are:<br/>
			<b>Inadequate Early Parental Attachments</b>
			<orderedlist>
				<listitem>Loss of a mother through depression, death, or illness</listitem>
				<listitem>Loss of a father through alcoholism, excessive work or travel, divorce, suicide</listitem>
				<listitem>Any significant unavailability of either parent</listitem>
			</orderedlist>
			<b>Trauma</b>
			<orderedlist>
				<listitem>Abuse</listitem>
				<listitem>A hospital stay at an early age</listitem>
				<listitem>Life-threatening illness</listitem>
				<listitem>A sickly brother or sister</listitem>
				<listitem>Car accident</listitem>
				<listitem>Divorce</listitem>
				<listitem>Moving</listitem>
			</orderedlist>
			Negative experiences such as these can form lasting negative thoughts and beliefs about ourselves that shape our lives in ways that take us from our life’s meaning and purpose, distorts our sense of reality, and can obscure the pathway to Source.
		</para>

		<para>The more we become conscious of our limiting beliefs, the more we are able to change the ones we choose to change. As we make these changes, expanded vitality, renewed joy, satisfaction, and peace of mind grace our life, work, and relationships.
Then we are more able to manifest our full potential and perceived purpose.
		</para>

		<para>When we take ourselves out of passivity and accept keen accountability for our experiences as our own creations we become empowered. This responsibility enables us to grow, expand our consciousness, and fulfill our true purpose.
		</para>

		<para>We assist you to psychologically and spiritually discover and activate your authentic self and successfully express yourself in the many systems through which you navigate daily.
		</para>
